Part time Sales Consultant (remote)

1. About Relief Applications

Relief Applications is a multicultural humanitarian-to-humanitarian organization that leverages advanced technology to support frontline responders and development actors. We specialize in creating data-governance tools, mobile and web platforms, and customized information management systems for international NGOs, UN agencies, and other humanitarian partners.

Our mission is to innovate in the humanitarian sector—empowering organisations through digital transformation to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability in crisis response and development programming. One of our flagship products is a Warehouse Management System (WMS), designed to simplify inventory management, enhance traceability, and optimize supply chain processes in the humanitarian sector.

2. Objective

To expand the reach of Relief Applications’ Warehouse Management System (WMS) by engaging new clients, generating leads, and closing sales during a dedicated 6-month period.

3. Scope of Work

The Sales Representative will:

- Identify and approach potential clients who would benefit from the WMS. - Present and demonstrate the system’s features and advantages.

- Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, guiding them through the sales pipeline. - Collaborate with the product and technical team to address client questions and requests. - Achieve agreed sales targets and share regular progress updates.
4. Timeframe & Level of Effort
- Estimated 1 working days per week.
- Initial term: 6 months.
- Remote role, with flexible scheduling and regular check-ins with Relief Applications’ leadership.

5. Deliverables

- Monthly updates on leads, opportunities, and closed sales.
- At least X client demos per month (to be agreed upon with management).
- Regular contribution to refining sales approaches and messaging based on client feedback.
6. Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in sales (SaaS, supply chain, logistics, or tech solutions highly desirable).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and clearly explain technical solutions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Experience with CRM tools is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to humanitarian or development organizations is a plus. - Good command of English is mandatory. Knowledge of French is desirable.

7. Reporting & Supervision

The Sales Representative will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Relief Applications, with coordination support from the WMS product team.
